Tabular (Flat Top)
Smooth tops often show Specular Reflection (Dark). However, the massive vertical faces create intense Double-Bounce returns where they meet the water line.
Drydock (U-Notched)
The "canyon" shape acts as a giant Trihedral Corner Reflector. Radar waves bounce multiple times within the notch before returning, making the center extremely bright.
Pinnacle (Steep)
Subject to Layover and Shadowing. One face will be ultra-bright because it is perpendicular to the beam, while the far side is a "Radar Shadow" with zero return.
Dome (Curved)
Presents a variety of incidence angles across a single surface. This produces a smooth gradient of Diffuse Scattering, usually appearing as a bright "blob" without hard glints.
